Wietmarscher Ambulance & Special Vehicles GmbH (WAS Germany) is pleased to announce the purchase of VIA Limited, the management company who have run their UK operations since 2008.
WAS will acquire the VIA Ltd assets and people who will now operate directly under WAS Vehicles (UK) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary serving the UK Ambulance market.
WAS UK operations will continue to run under the steady hands of Darren Sullivan and Tom Howlett. John Rumsey, the majority shareholder of VIA Ltd, will leave the business to focus on his other UK companies.
WAS Vehicles (UK) Ltd offers market leading lightweight Accident & Emergency vehicle conversions. The UK subsidiary will continue its expansion in the UK market and continue to offer market leading products, support and training from its 5,000 sq. feet facility in Burton on Trent.
All ongoing contracts will continue uninterrupted and fully supported.
