In view of the current difficult global economic and political situation, we have decided after careful discussion to cancel our participation in this year's INTERSCHUTZ.
Both the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, which is placing increasing demands on and tying up our emergency forces, and the economic circumstances affecting the entire vehicle industry in terms of raw material and energy price problems and supply bottlenecks, have led to this decision. The still unchanged high Corona infection figures and the cancellation of other major reference exhibitors at INTERSCHUTZ were ultimately the deciding factors for us to cancel our presence at the trade fair. We believe that under these conditions neither our expectations nor those of our possible visitors can be met.
We would like to emphasize that this decision was really not easy for us. The whole WAS team was very much looking forward to finally presenting our new products to our national and international customers, partners, suppliers and service providers. We ask everyone to understand our decision.
