The WAS 100-E combines a tried-and-tested vehicle design with the battery-electric powertrain of the Mercedes-Benz eVito, thereby offering a modern platform for electric drive technology in the emergency medical services. With optimal use of space, a strong focus on safety and a payload of 610 kg, the vehicle meets the current requirements for first response vehicles and offers a range of customisable cabinet modules.
The electrically powered WAS 500 E-RTW combines the requirements of an emergency ambulance with a battery-electric powertrain. With a gross vehicle weight of 5.5 tonnes, it is designed for its intended operations. During the test phase, it completed 1,235 call-outs.
The WAS 500 E-RTW VSAV is based on the Iveco eDaily and combines a battery-electric powertrain with the WAS lightweight body. The vehicle design takes into account the power supply for medical equipment as well as requirements relating to safety, ergonomics, storage space and day-to-day use in the ambulance service.
