Outpatient tables from WAS
for even more comfort

One of the indispensable components of many ambulances is the ambulance table, which is used in thousands of WAS vehicles worldwide.

  • The WAS ambulance tables are electro-hydraulic and are available in two performance variants. The Hydropuls Komfort is designed for up to 250 kg continuous load and 280 kg peak load and the Hydropuls Komfort XL is designed for up to 350 kg continuous load.
  • Shock/anti-shock position with variable intermediate steps according to Trendelenburg > 15°.
  • Infinitely variable locking is possible at any height
  • The loading height can be set once at the touch of a button and the loading platform can be returned to the horizontal position.
  • The support table trays can be moved to the right and left by 125 mm in multi-stage parallel sideways movement. The weight-dependent shock absorption adapts the vibration behaviour to the respective patient weight.
  • Misoperation is ruled out by a logical control system, and manual emergency operation is possible at any time.
  • The table is very flat and is only approx. 210 mm above the vehicle floor in the lowered position. The pull-out and side shift are mounted on ball bearings and linear guides. This means that the layout of the patient room can be changed and adapted if necessary.

The WAS Hydro Universal

It is only relatively recently that ergonomic and back-friendly working has become increasingly important in the emergency services. We have taken this welcome development as an opportunity to fundamentally revise our ambulance table and offer a further table variant.

Proven functions remain the same:

  • Infinitely variable locking is possible at any height
  • The loading height can be set once at the touch of a button and the loading platform can be returned to the horizontal position.
  • The ambulance table can be moved to the right and left by 128 mm in multi-stage parallel sideways movement.

The most important features of the WAS Hydro Universal:

  • Ergonomic benefits thanks to electrohydraulics: The new ambulance table can now accommodate electrohydraulic systems in addition to manual mobile stretcher systems, thus combining the advantages of the conventional table (variable working height, lateral adjustment, head up/head down position) with back-friendly working using an electrohydraulic mobile stretcher. When the mobile stretcher system is pulled out, the upper tray of the table automatically lowers to the required level to enable ergonomic loading and unloading of the stretcher.
  • Higher load capacity: The WAS Hydro Universal can hold up to 500 kg - approx. 150 kg more than its predecessor!
  • More maintenance-friendly than ever before: Technology needs regular maintenance to function properly. Service, maintenance and repair work can be carried out quickly and easily in just a few simple steps.
  • Unique - no air suspension necessary: The optimum loading height is achieved via automatic lowering. This means that it is not necessary to install air suspension on the rear axle.
