Future Day 2025 at WAS:
Experience technology & discover careers

On 10 April, it was that time of year again: for the nationwide Future Day, we welcomed 16 children aged between 10 and 15 to our company – and gave them an exciting insight into the world of WAS.
The day began with breakfast and a tour of our production halls. It was clear from the outset that the children had a great deal of enthusiasm for technology, vehicles and teamwork. But that was just the beginning.
At several interactive stations, the participants were able to get to know our apprenticeships and dual study programmes – in a very practical and fun way. Whether tinkering, solving small puzzles or experiencing our WAS ambulance, there was plenty of tinkering, marvelling and laughing.
After lunch together, the day was rounded off with a tricky WAS quiz, which put their new knowledge to the test.
For us at WAS, Future Day is more than just a taster day: it is an opportunity to get young people excited about technology, innovation and team spirit – and maybe even to provide initial inspiration for their future career path.
A big thank you to all the participants – we look forward to seeing you again!
