The WAS Group is on a clear growth path and now employs almost 1,000 people at six locations – including sites in Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom.

In recent years, we have successfully tapped into new markets and reclaimed former market segments. With GEWA Karosserie- und Fahrzeugbau GmbH and EMS Panels GmbH, two new companies have also joined the WAS Group. Since the LUEG Group joined us, we have almost doubled our vehicle sales.

In view of current political developments – in particular the increased investment in defence and security – we expect additional market opportunities and are already preparing our organisation for the next chapter of growth.

On 1 May 2025, we will reorganise our management team:

Felix Bockholt (COO)

Patrick Kresse (CFO)

Felix Bockholt is a new member of the management team. He has more than 15 years of extensive experience at the Volkswagen Group, most recently as head of vehicle production at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. With him, we are gaining a proven expert in industrial production processes and materials management.

At the beginning of the year, Andreas Plöger, our long-standing Managing Director Sales, retired from the management board. We are all the more pleased that he will continue to maintain close ties with WAS and will look after some of our export markets and international customers as President Overseas.

We look forward to continuing on this path together with our team, our partners and our customers.
