In April 2025, EMS Panels will start up a new adhesive applicator. The introduction of this innovative technology marks a significant advance in the field of industrial manufacturing. The aim is to make production processes more efficient, more precise and more resource-efficient.

Technology in detail

The new system is used to apply adhesive to sandwich materials automatically and evenly. The application process is carried out with the help of a rake that is aligned with the corner of the metal sheet using a laser pointer. After entering the length and width, the adhesive application starts. The foam and other adhesive layers are then applied.

The system can process three different adhesive components. The pot life and curing times, as well as the amount of adhesive, can be individually adjusted. The precise application ensures greater process reliability and improves product quality.
