On 1 August 2023, the time had finally come: our new apprentices and dual students started their careers at WAS. To celebrate this special day in style, our eight new recruits went on their first trip together. They spent the day at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion stadium in Bochum with the 62 apprentices from Fahrzeug-Werke LUEG AG in North Rhine-Westphalia. The programme included an opportunity to get to know each other, fascinating insights into the working day and plenty of new impressions.

The second day was just as exciting: during the ‘Tour de LUEG’, our apprentices visited various LUEG AG locations and gained valuable insights into the company and the industry. This was not only informative, but also offered the perfect opportunity to network with other apprentices and employees.

At the end of the week, it was time to enter the world of WAS. In addition to training on important topics such as occupational safety and company processes, our apprentices had the chance to meet their new colleagues and network within the team. The first month of training was therefore not only exciting, but also offered a successful start to an exciting time at WAS.
