WAS training starts in 2024:
A successful start

A month ago, the time had come again: on 1 August, we welcomed our new trainees to WAS. The first day started early, as we travelled together to the Vonovia Ruhrstadion in Bochum. Our trainees were welcomed there together with the trainees from the LUEG Group. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other on the first day in a relaxed atmosphere and to gain an insight into the larger structures of our partners.

The second day of training was all about team building. Back in Emsbüren, we built wire cars together, ate pizza and had a lot of fun playing swing golf. These activities not only lightened the mood, but also created the basis for a strong team spirit.

After two successful introductory days, the regular training programme began. On Monday, some of the group began their induction training, while others were able to familiarise themselves with other LUEG Group sites. The first few days were full of impressions and new experiences - but after a month, we can proudly say that everyone has settled in well and is now fully settled into their new roles.

We are very much looking forward to the coming years and are excited to see how our new trainees will develop!
