Start of training in 2025:
Starting career at WAS

Die neuen WAS-Azubis Jahrgang 2025 stehen vor 3 RTWs

At the beginning of August, six new junior employees started their careers at WAS: two mechatronics engineers, one industrial clerk and three dual students studying industrial engineering. Starting a career is an important step, which we at WAS support with structured and practical training.

The first day began with a joint breakfast and a round of introductions, followed by a tour of the administrative departments.

The individual departments were presented and initial organisational questions were clarified. The new colleagues then gained important insights into occupational safety before moving on to production and logistics.

The second day was all about digital basics: IT training, an introduction to compliance issues and an open exchange on personnel questions were on the agenda. The introductory week was rounded off with a company-wide scavenger hunt, an interactive form of orientation that also provided an opportunity for initial team experiences.

Another highlight followed in the middle of the week: a joint outing with the existing trainees to Rheine. The programme included a visit to the Escape Room, followed by lunch together and a round of swing golf. The aim was to promote cooperation across the training years and to help the newcomers settle into the company.

Since Thursday, the new trainees and interns have been working in their respective departments and gaining their first practical experience.

We look forward to working with them and wish everyone a successful start to their professional future at WAS.
