The WAS 500 design emergency ambulance combines optimum utilisation of space in the patient compartment with the very best standards in safety and technology.

Thanks to the space-saving sliding side door, ambulance crews have direct access to emergency and first response equipment. The market leading, fully compliant and fully integrated front and rear LED warning system guarantees that you will always be seen. A five camera surveillance system additionally improves the safety of emergency services personnel by recording both internal and external images to a secure hard drive. Full LED lighting both in the patient compartment and externally provide optimum working conditions for staff while maximising energy efficiency. The ergonomic design with enclosed streamlined panels between the cab and box body ensures optimum aerodynamics, thus optimising the vehicle‘s fuel consumption. This ambulance is fully compliant with ECWVTA.
