The WAS Smart Check system gives much more time and safety for rescuers. The independent system for all ambulance vehicles checks medical consumables and medical equipment within just a few minutes: regarding their completeness, expiry dates, maintenance intervals and the correct allocation to the vehicle. The complete material on board, equipped with a RFID chip, is checked with the easy-to-operate handheld. A sophisticated RFID technology with its own WLAN system compares the actual state in the vehicle with the target state according to the protocols, incl. prioritization of the equipment to be used. This means: more time and safety for both rescuers and fleet management.
Emergency services now have full control of their equipment even during rescue operations. The WAS Smart Check mobile delivers real-time information on misplaced or lost resources, thus preventing valuable medical equipment from going missing, even on operation site. The system also provides detailed information on expiry dates and maintenance intervals. WAS Smart Check mobile can be used in manual or automatic mode. In automatic mode, the system is activated upon arrival of the ambulance on site. The system runs a vehicle check according to adjustable cycles. Alternatively, the system check can be run manually by pressing the start button on the tablet monitor in the vehicle, after finishing the rescue operation. Further to an inventory management, the system indicates the latest use of the equipment in the vehicle. This information narrows the search for any missing equipment and saves time. The system also uses passive RFID technology and is compatible with the stationary version.
