WAS Interior Design
for ambulances and special-purpose vehicles
WAS interior systems provide maximum functionality and customisability for ambulances and special vehicles. Our furniture is made from high-quality rigid PVC integral skin foam panels – a material ideally suited to the demanding conditions of the emergency medical services. Stable, impact-resistant and resistant to moisture and disinfectants, it offers a long-lasting and hygienic solution for intensive use.
Features and benefits of our interior fittings:
- Customisable furniture: Depending on the intended use, there are numerous furniture options available that can be flexibly adapted.
- Long-lasting material: The furniture is stable, thermally and sound-insulating and has a smooth, easy-to-clean surface that is free of organic material and meets all hygienic requirements.
- Robust edges and safety mechanisms: All edges are extremely durable and glued without a finishing profile, making them particularly easy to clean. Drawers and cabinets are secured against unintentional opening with rotary locks in accordance with DIN 1789.
- Heavy-duty drawers and secure storage: drawers are fitted with heavy-duty runners and provide reliable support even when heavily loaded. Sensitive medication and equipment can be safely stored in lockable compartments or an integrated safe.
- Wide range of cabinets: From larder cabinets to integrated thermoboxes and refrigerators to lockable compartments – our selection of cabinets covers all requirements.
- Customised solutions: Since we manufacture all of our furniture ourselves, we can flexibly respond to customer requests and also offer customised solutions.
Our interior fittings meet the requirements of DIN EN 1789, are flame retardant and fully recyclable. With an interior fittings from WAS, you get a long-lasting and efficient solution that meets all the requirements of the emergency services and is ideally equipped for every operational situation.
