WAS Safety

Security of WAS
for ambulances and special-purpose vehicles

At WAS, the safety of patients and emergency services personnel is our top priority. That is why our ambulances and special-purpose vehicles undergo a variety of strict tests and certifications that go far beyond the usual standards. Our aim is to develop vehicles that offer maximum protection even under extreme conditions and meet the high demands of the emergency medical services and emergency response services.

To ensure the safety of our vehicles, we subject them to comprehensive testing procedures that test both the stability and the resistance of the vehicles. These tests include, among other things, rollover tests, crash tests and tensile tests, which ensure that our vehicles remain reliable and safe even in critical situations. Our vehicles are also certified according to internationally recognised testing standards by institutes such as UTAC, VCA and TÜV. These certifications confirm that our vehicles meet the highest safety and quality requirements.

WAS safety standards set a new benchmark for the industry: our vehicles are designed to withstand the forces of accidents or extreme situations without compromising on functionality. From robust construction and precise workmanship to detailed testing and certification, at WAS we ensure that emergency services personnel can rely on their vehicles when it matters.
