The WAS 100 first response vehicle, a Volkswagen T6.1 4MOTION, is equipped with a CAN bus-controlled 12 V central electrical system with a touchscreen that offers extensive control options for lighting, warning and energy technology, including a door-open indication, fuse failure display, voltage monitoring, blue light control and selective shutdown of consumers. Additional features include an accident data recorder, an electrically controlled fan heater, a 230 V mains connection and an auxiliary battery with cut-off relay.
