WAS 500 Infection Control Ambulance
MAN TGM Box Body 12 T

Thanks to its generous space, this infection control ambulance enables the safe transport of infectious patients as well as intensive care or obese patients. The mounting rails embedded in the vehicle floor allow for multifunctional use of the vehicle. From a stretcher with several accompanying seats to two stretchers to pure passenger transport with up to nine seats, even without a stretcher, everything is possible. The patient can be gently transported into the vehicle via the tail lift. Two specially developed air treatment systems with integrated fumigation systems continuously condition and filter both the air in the patient compartment and the supply and exhaust air. During transport, the system automatically maintains a stable negative pressure in the patient compartment, enabling the transport of highly infectious patients. The result: maximum flexibility, maximum hygiene safety and optimum protection for patients and staff.
