3. warranty services
The prerequisite for claiming warranty service is that the manufacturer is enabled to inspect the warranty case (e.g. by inspecting the product on site).
In the case of justified warranty claims, the warranty will be processed carriage paid for you in any case, i.e. the manufacturer will reimburse any freight or transport costs. Otherwise, the buyer bears these costs.
A copy of the invoice for the consignment of goods must be enclosed with the warranty claim so that the manufacturer can check whether the warranty period has been observed. Without a copy of the invoice, the manufacturer may refuse to honour the warranty. You must also provide the name and address of the seller if this information cannot be found on the copy of the invoice.
For the duration of the warranty, we will remedy all defects in the product that are demonstrably attributable to a material or manufacturing defect. We undertake, at our discretion, to replace the defective goods free of charge with defect-free goods or to repair them.
In any case, the manufacturer can decide whether a repair should be carried out at the manufacturer's headquarters or at another location by an authorised partner of the manufacturer. Both technical aspects and costs must be taken into account.
This warranty does not limit statutory rights, in particular warranty claims against the manufacturer of the vehicle and possible claims against the manufacturer under the Product Liability Act.
This guarantee promise therefore does not infringe your statutory rights, but rather extends your legal position.
