A total of 6 new WAS 500 ambulances will embark on a long journey to Chile at the end of September. In November, they will then be officially handed over to the customer Gobierno Regional del Maule, where they will play a key role in the future as multi-purpose emergency ambulances for the transfer and care of critical, bariatric and neonatal patients in the region and significantly improve pre-hospital care in Chile.
Mauricio Martin Hartwig and Rafael Rebollo Andonie from our Chilean distribution partner RMH SPA were with us in Emsbüren last week for the acceptance of the first vehicles.
This is a success we are particularly pleased about. We met Mauricio and Rafael 6 years ago and quickly agreed on an official sales partnership. Since then, we have continuously worked together to implement ambulances according to DIN EN 1789 in Chile.
