All entrance doors and equipment doors close in a double rebate with two seals. The double rebate on the door and on the box wall ensures that the patient compartment has the best possible protection against external noise and moisture.

  • The box is produced in a VacuTherm® process, which guarantees high strength and robustness with an thinner and lighter design. The reduced weight improves the energy efficiency: fuel consumption is reduced.
  • The box body achieves additional stability with a lower weight thanks to aluminium struts with reinforcement for mounting equipment. The stable rear portal furthermore strengthens the box structure and thus guarantees roll-over safety and crash safety.
  • The industrial manufacture guarantees a uniform processing quality with low tolerances and a high level of precision. Follow-up orders of hatches or doors, for example, are produced with an exact fit.

  • A variety of different furniture can be individually configured depending on the application.
  • The furniture is produced from integral foam sheets made from unplasticised PVC. The positive properties of this material provide the perfect conditions for installation in ambulances. It is stable and impact-resistant, light-fast, resistant to moisture, non-swelling, resistant to disinfectant agents, thermally insulating and soundproofing and easy to clean on account of its smooth, uniform surface. It is free of any organic material.


Ambulance tables

  • The WAS ambulance tables are electro-hydraulic ambulance tables and are available in 2 versions. The Hydropuls Comfort is designed for continuous loads of up to 250 kg and peak loads of 280 kg and the Hydropuls Comfort XL is designed for continuous loads of up to 350 kg.
  • Trendelenburg/reverse-Trendelenburg position with variable intermediate stages > 15°.
  • Infinitely variable locking is possible at any height.
  • The loading height can be adjusted with a single touch of a button and the loading platform restored to the horizontal again.


Overhead station

The overhead station gives you access to and an overview of all the important areas. It can optionally be equipped with switches, a display or touchscreen for central control and can include, in any combination:

Heating/air conditioning

With the use of various air-conditioning units, the air-conditioning in the vehicle can be adjusted to the right temperature for the wellbeing of the patient and crew. There are solutions with connection to the air-conditioning unit of the base vehicle, with an additional, independent system for the patient compartment or very special air-conditioning units for extreme climatic regions. It can be operated flexibly in the patient compartment and in the driver's compartment.


To guarantee maximum safety, our vehicles are subjected to various tests such as roll-over tests, crash tests and pull tests, and to approval to bodies such as the UTAC, VCA and TÜV.


  • Our box bodies, including the fitted furniture, are fully recyclable.
  • Fuel consumption is reduced thanks to the aerodynamic design.
  • The LED technology is energy-saving and improves the energy footprint.
  • All materials used are CFC-free.


  • For unimpeded operations, the moulded recesses for left- and right-handed people are easy to grip, even when wearing work gloves.
  • Seats, entrances, operation, loading aids and internal headroom are designed according to the latest ergonomic findings and ensure smooth procedures with a minimised risk of accidents.
  • The box floor is manufactured to be low-vibration and non-slip and thus protects the joints of patients and paramedics.
