The Most Important Innovations of the WAS Hydro Universal:
Ergonomic advantages through electrohydraulics: the new ambulance table can now accommodate electrohydraulic systems in addition to manual stretcher systems, thus combining the advantages of the conventional table (variable working height, lateral adjustment, headup/ headdown position) with the back-friendly work by means of an electrohydraulic stretcher. When the mobile stretcher is pulled out, the upper tub of the table automatically lowers to the required level to allow ergonomic loading and unloading of the stretcher.
Ergonomics plus: In addition, the new ambulance table can also be equipped with an upper tub including the WAS Multi-Load Assist move-in assistance.
Higher load capacity: The new ambulance table can carry up to 500 kg of weight – approx. 150 kg more than the previous version!
More maintenance-friendly than ever before: Technology needs regular maintenance to function properly. Service, maintenance and repair work can be carried out quickly and easily in just a few steps.
Unique - no air suspension necessary: The optimum loading height is achieved via automatic lowering. Thus, the installation of an air suspension on the rear axle is not necessary.
Proven Functions Are Retained:
Stepless locking is possible at any height.
The loading height can be adjusted once by pressing a button and the loading platform can be returned to its horizontal position.
The ambulance table can be shifted 128 mm to the left or right in a multi-stage parallel lateral movement.
Due to the weight-dependent shock absorption, the oscillation behaviour adapts to the respective patient weight.
Operating errors are ruled out by a logical control system, and manual emergency operation is possible at any time.
The table is very flat and stands only approx. 210 mm above the vehicle floor in the lowered position.
The extension and the side shift are mounted on ball bearings and in linear guides. This means that, if necessary, the layout of the patient compartment can be changed and adapted.
