An off-road vehicle concept for worldwide off-road operations

The standardised WAS "plug and play" box body concept of the Toyota Land Cruiser WAS 4x4 Ambulance is particularly torsionally rigid and allows the greatest possible flexibility at low operating costs: Not only can individual panels of the box body be easily repaired, but the entire box body can be replaced and mounted on a new chassis. Depending on the size of the project, we can even supply only the box body to our local partners, who procure the basic vehicles locally.

To prevent wear and tear and to ensure safe hygiene, only nonorganic material is used in the body, which can withstand even the highest temperatures in 'super hot countries'. With integrated high-performance air-conditioning technology, the thermal box body protects the crew and patients from extreme heat. So far, the vehicle has already been used successfully in various countries and will certainly also be used in the demanding terrain of other continents of the world.

Minimal downtime

The standardised WAS 'plug and play' box body concept allows the greatest possible flexibility and is easy to repair, because spare parts for the Toyota Land Cruiser are available worldwide. Our local partners are trained to repair the WAS conversion so that vehicle downtime is minimised.

Low operating costs

Not only can individual panels of the box body be easily repaired, but the entire box body can be replaced and mounted on a new chassis. This increases the service life of the ambulance and reduces costs. In addition, it is lightweight and thus reduces fuel consumption.

Tested according to ECE R66 Roll Over

Of course, the Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 ambulance  is tested according to ECE R66 Roll Over, including the fastenings inside the case.

For off-road operations

The WAS box body in sandwich construction for the Toyota Land Cruiser WAS 4x4 ambulance was specially developed for off-road use and is particularly torsionally stiff. The box body is lightweight while increasing stability. Its low centre of gravity also enhances manoeuvrability off-road.

Innovative climate technology

The Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 Ambulance is doubly strong at the highest temperatures. Firstly, only heat-resistant non-organic material is used in the body. In addition, integrated high-performance air-conditioning technology in the thermal box body protects the crew and patients.
